Onirism is a beautiful, polished adventure game that looks like it was made by an AAA studio.

It’s an action adventure game where you play as Carol- a young girl who’s on a mission to rescue her plush animal that’s been stolen by a mysterious thief.

Okay, that probably doesn’t sound like something talk about around the water cooler. But keep reading. You don’t want to skip this game.

Onirism is a freakin’ awesome adventure. You travel through a variety of different environments that range from bustling towns to dense forests to lava-laden caves. You meet a ton of people who you befriend that may ask for your help or aid you in your quest. On the other hand, you also meet people that don’t really like you as well. Interacting with NPCs is a big part of the game since they help you in your quest to recover your plush, and may also uncover some disturbing secrets about your quest.

The game isn’t just about interacting though. You have a full arsenal to take down baddies. It features a combat system that’s simple, but it works. You’re armed with a badass quiver of weapons, ranging from a giant hair dryer to an umbrella to a whole slew of random toys that she whips out. Baddies aren’t any match for Carol. She’s ready for anything. Seriously.

Onimrism features puzzle-solving and baddie bashing through a variety of different environments. The game also has some light platforming elements. You’ll feel like you’re playing a classic platformer like Mario 64 or Banjo-Kazooie because of how colorful and imaginative the game is. You can jump, swim, climb, ride, and bash. The game does have a sense of exploration to it, and you’ll probably want to given that it’s just so darn gorgeous to look at.

Without spoiling the story, go ahead and give Onirism a try for yourself. This is a stunning action adventure game that’s very polished and one of the best we’ve seen so far. It’s definitely worth a play through. The controls are intuitive. The grahpics are amazing. The story is actually good. This game cuts through the crap and just delivers an awesome experience.

Klepto is a 3D indie platformer where you play as an alien thief who built a complete simulator of stealing from the Wild West to practice in.

Yup, that’s right.

You’re a master thief who needs to hone his thieving skills in the Wild, Wild West. And you’ve built a full simulator completely out of cardboard.

That means the game is pretty much a constant parkour platformer where you need to collect objects and items and do it as fast as possible. The game plays as a crazy 3D platformer with a lot of different elements like using a grappling hook to hang on lamps, moving platforms, regular jumps, and obstacles. It’s a non-stop fast-paced game with a lot of precision platforming.

It has a nice control scheme that works well except for some parts where you need to time your hook to grapple on stuff. There are also parts where you need to time your jumps and the platforms are a total miss. You think you’ll it, but you’ll just miss it. It’s pretty annoying, but then again, the game is still in beta and has a lot of potentials.

The game features a hub area with 5 main levels. Each level has special items you need to steal as you progress. There are also a lot of quirky objects for you to appreciate. And there are even hidden secrets for you to check out.

Project 1v1 is a new FPS made by Gearbox Software.

It’s a weird game from what I’ve seen. It’s like a mix of collecting cards and FPS. Not much detail has been released about the game yet, but speculators state that it’s a hybrid game that ties the two popular genres into one.

Project 1v1 features 3 game modes:

• Ranked
• Challenge
• Arena

You can play against another in a ladder featuring ranked games. These games are known as Ranked games and will allow you to get new cards and unlock skills. You’ll also be able to play in a Challenge mode where you play against friends. And there’s also an Arena mode where you have to dethrone the current champion so you can usurp their place.

Gearbox is also the developer behind AAA titles like Borderlands and Battleborn.

The only games on the market right now that are similar to it are Warframe and perhaps Unreal Tournament. The game is heavily based on futuristic weapons and environments based on screenshots. It’s a competitive game where the main core of the game is 1v1 battles with a card element.

The game is still relatively hidden so we can’t provide much information about it. It’ll be available for beta sign ups which you can use the link below to get in early. It’ll be going through a “technical test” and sign ups are now available. The game is still relatively unknown at this point. Details will be posted as news rolls out. Sit tight.

Project 1v1 looks like an interesting take so far and pretty promising.

Super Chicken Catchers is a fun little indie game that’s pretty crazy to play with others.

It puts you in a farm with one other teammate against another team of two players.

You’re riding a pig and your objective is to hunt down a chicken faster than the other team. There’s only one chicken running around the farm, and you have to snatch it quickly. It offers a 3D environment with tons of hilarious bouts all around.

There’s even some customization to it. You can play as either the Farmhand or the Hog. They both have their own abilities.

The Farmhand has a gyro rocket pack to zip around quickly and a yo-yo for attacks. It’s very useful for dashing around in the air and gives you the speed you need to get around the farm. You can hover without touching the ground until you have to land.The Hog has a variety of different abilities that help him move around- you can drift, do a quick turn, or even dash. You need to master the controls and use each one strategically or else the opposite team will beat you to the chicken first.

You can also have the Farmhand mount the Hog and you unlock special combination abilities. You can use both of their attacks and maneuverability to get around quicker and catch that chicken before the opposite team. You rack up points for scoring goals. And that’s the only way to win the game.

The goal is simple. Capture the chicken and bring it to your goal. It’s like “steal the bacon” that you used to play back in elementary school. Remember that?

The game looks very easy, but there’ a deep amount of strategy that you need to practice and communication with your teammate is key. It’s best to play with a friend. It’s seriously a blast to play with someone you know.

The graphics are very polished and look awesome. The sound is also pretty good. Both contribute to the game’s awesome atmosphere and hilarious gameplay elements (which are crazy). They both work together to create a game that’s very fun to play.

The Free Ones is a platformer game with a twist.

You play in first-person only and you use physics to your advantage. In other words, it’s like first-person parkour.

You’re armed with a grapple gun you use sort of like a hookshot from the Zelda series. You use it to grab onto objects and pull yourself to them, or you can use it to grab other objects.

Of course, being a physics-based indie platformer, you can’t expect the physics to be perfect. They’re going to be clunky and awkward, which is what makes these games so awesome. If they were perfect, it’d be boring.

This game is all about physics. You need to escape the island, but to do that, you’ll have to overcome all the puzzles and find all the secrets to get out. Your grappling hookshot is your main way of transporting yourself around the island. You can attach yourself to wood and other objects. You can even jump from object to object a la Spiderman, but you’ll have to recharge it and land eventually.

The goal of The Free Ones is to escape from the island you’re on. You need to solve puzzles and jump platforms to escape. The creators of this game also helped make FarSky. You may know them as Farsky interactive. They also made Sky Break. The game is pretty much recently announced so there’s not much information about it online. You can expect an awesome physics-based platformer as info starts to surface about The Free Ones.

Yo! Noid Was Ahead of its Time is an indie adventure platformer game.

You play as the Noid venturing The Void. (Really?)

It’s a fan-made sequel that continues the story of the Noid back on the PlayStation. The game plays like Banjo Kazooie in a 3D environment as you traverse colorful landscapes. The game also throws puzzles at you for you to solve. They’re easy, but the camera could use some work. It actually makes the puzzles a lot more difficult than they are because you can’t see far enough or wide enough.

But it’s not that bad.

The objective is to find your lost yo-yo. When you recover it, you can use it. But here’s where the camera gets kind of stuttery and makes the game difficult to play. I’m not sure if it was intentional, but it does take getting used to.

The game offers a pretty fun and challenging puzzle adventure with plenty of 3D platforming. For an indie platformer, it’s a blast.

The levels are difficult and you’ll need to try and try again. But that’s what happens with these older retro platformers.

Like they say, it’s “NES hard.” Those were the good ol’ days.

The graphics aren’t that impressive, but they’re true 3D and not 2.5D. The sound is also not bad and does the job. There’s also music and some smooth animations. The soundtrack is pretty awesome.

You could definitely see this game on a PlayStation or N64. It’ll remind you of classics like Mario 64.

Grab a slice of pizza and sit down.

Greetings is a cinematic experiencing featuring the Unreal 4 Engine.

It’s a first-person atmospheric walk trhough the insides of a spaceship. It’s a quick game (if you can call it that) so be prepared to look for your next game.

You can finish it it under 5 minutes even if you look around and explore. The visuals and audio are very well done. You could make a horror game out of it. There’s a sense of creeping horror as you walk through the craft, but you don’t really have any objectives other than to explore.

You find out your purpose at the end of the game. But it’s hard to say without spoiling it. You’ll have to play Greetings by yourself and find out.

Islands of Nyne: Battle Royle is another survival game where you need to be the last man standing.

You’re placed into a battle arena with up to 100 other players. It looks and plays very similar to PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds, but it’s not quite the same. In fact, it was in development for a longer period way before PUBG was announced.

The storyline goes as aliens have pitted humans against each other and watch them battle it out. The battle arena shrinks just like any other battle royale game and puts players in close proximity.

In IoN:BR, there are key differences compared to PUBG. For instance, the game is only in first-person, which means you can’t use the camera to peek around corners and windows. The game also takes place in an environment that’s alien. They have things like antigravity and even teleportation. The environments are what keep this game interesting. you can play in pirate-themed levels, medieval villages, ruins, and even modern levels. Unlike PUBG, you don’t only play in a rural, ransacked city.

You get a variety of weapons to utilize to your advantage that fit the environment, such as medieval-theme weaponry like swords. This is also a distinct feature that keeps Islands of Nyne a standout battle royale game.

Here are some features from their press kit:

• First-person-only gameplay
• A full competitive ranking system
• Persistent stat tracking
• Massive arenas featuring weapons and locations that span time and space
• Teleportation, anti-gravity mechanics and other unique Sci-Fi elements

Some other planned features are multiple game modes, a betting system, and even no microtransactions. Before you knock this game off as a just another battle royale trying to cash in on the trend, give it a try. It has amazing graphics due to the Unreal 4 engine and looks very promising already.

FIGHT KNIGHT is a dungeon crawler based on a first person perspecitve.

At first glance, it looks like a regular retro game. But it’s actually very unique for what it is.

What’s awesome about this game is that it’s rendered in real-time. It’s a melee brawler where you need to get to the top of a giant tower.

You play as a knight who uses his fists to combat enemeies. You kill baddies, fight bosses, solve puzzles, and talk to NPCs. You do everything with your fists. How badass is that? It makes for a humorous twist to the game. The badass knight you play as doesn’t need anything else but his fists. Fists for all. Fists for everything. Fists for anything.

The game looks like a retro dungeon crawler filled with exploration, collecting stuff, and solving puzzles. You face off with an assortment of baddies and the combat is very fun. You have to dodge, use your skills, and of course, punch the enemies. It’s all in real-time. Everything.

FIGHT KNIGHT is still in early development, but it looks very promising already. It’s a fun, retro, and awesome indie dungeon crawler with awesome combat.

Before is a low-poly prehistoric survival game developed by a team at Facepunch Studios.

They’re also making a few other gems like Wiseguys (and have made Garry’s Mod, Rust, and a few more).

Before is an amazing game with awesome visuals. You play as a human and you need to explore different landscapes and wildlife. You explore, hunt, get resources, build settlements, and interact with others. It’s pretty much your standard survival sim with a fresh twist on the graphics.

It’s been in development for a while but now it’s available for beta.
