GunFight.io is the newest multiplayer craze in browser-based “io” games.

It’s an online multiplayer shooter game where you play on one of two teams and you need to take the other team down by sniping them from a distance.

Think “slappers only” in GoldenEye for the N64, but with snipers only.

Yeah, that’s about.

The game mixes fast-paced combat with stealth at the same time. You feel a sense of urgency as you can be picked off by an enemy at any time, so you’re always on the move. When you spot an enemy, you need to take them out before they take you out. The game has a ton of objects to hide behind, making this a very edge-of-your-seat experience.

It feels like playing a stick figure game with guns.

When you’re hiding behind cover, you can’t be shot. But the level is completely sidescrolling on a 2.5D plane. So you’ll eventually have to uncover yourself by looking over the object and going into “scope mode” which has you gazing through your scope in an FPS setup. You’ll then have to aim and take out your enemy.

But they’ll do the same- they’ll hide in place and wait for the right opportunity to snipe you.

The games are fast-paced and quick. Find an enemy. Find cover. Take them out first. There are also some environmental hazards thrown in to mix it up. The team with the most kills wins.

You can fight on foot, air, or behind the wheel. Pilot choppers, APCs, tanks, jeeps, and tons more. The game is crazy fun to play if you’re into FPS game. You get a basic UI with a minimap, ammo reserve, status bars, and the bare basics. Considering the fact that it all runs in your browser, it’s pretty amazing.

The game has limitless replayability with daily quests and the ability to unlock cosmetic items. It’s not a pay to win game and it’s also completely free to play. You don’t even need an account to play. Just load the page and you’re in. If you get an account, you’re able to unlock special items.

Overall, War Brokers is an awesome online FPS that’s worth checking out. If you like Battlefield, you’ll get your fix playing this. It plays very similarly and is tons of fun to play. Check it out.
