The Adventures of Yulpers! is an awesome Super Mario Bros-like game that has you gobbling up enemies!

You play as a small caterpillar who’s on a mission to platform his way through the levels to stop his friend from doing some evil stuff. This means you’ll have to platform through a series of Mario-like levels filled with enemies, projectiles, and traps.

You can eat nearly every enemy which is needed to get bigger and fill in another caterpillar segment on your body. When you get huge, you can take more hits similar to how Mario gets bigger when he eats a ‘shroom.

Besides that, there’s not much to say. Play it and explore the colorful side scrolling worlds. The game is fun to see how big you can get, but then again, it’s like Snake where getting huge makes you vulnerable to attacks. Try out The Adventures of Yulpers! for yourself and grow up!

Poipoil’s Adventure is a fun little indie platformer adventure game.

It’s a sidescrolling adventure game where you need to get to the end of the level without falling into any of the endless abysses.

The artwork is gorgeous, it’ll remind you of the classic NES Mario games. You’ll traverse through forests, snowy lands, lakes, and a few others. Although there aren’t any enemies for you to fight, there are environmental hazards. You have to watch out for natural obstacles like slippery ice blocks (that look exactly like the blocks in Mario 3). The game isn’t that difficult, but some parts do require some skillfully timed jumps to make it across.

And the best part?

It has multiplayer. Yup. Multiplayer.

You can play with a friend and try to get through the levels together via couch co-op. You both use the same computer as there’s no online play, but it’s okay, some people (like me) prefer it that way.

It’s like playing Mario 3 with a friend but you both need to get through the levels at the same time.

It offers a “race to the finish” kind of gameplay, so you’ll be rushing to get to the finish line first. It’s chaotic, difficult, and full of laughs.

This makes an awesome game to Let’s Play if you do group settings.

Each level you beat will bring the difficulty up, so it’ll get challenging towards the later levels.

The game is considered to be complete by the developer. It’s made by the Unity engine and looks very appealing. The game features colorful 2D graphics with parallax scrolling backgrounds.

ScubaBear is a cute platformer where you play as a scuba diving bear (complete with snorkel set) and you go hunting for hidden treasures deep in the sea.

The game looks like a homebrew of Mario 3 with its colorful graphics and cute art style. It’s very pleasing to look at and play. The music is cheery. The clouds move. The bear is super happy.

You play as a bear with a treasure map. You look for treasure. It’s that simple. You can find anything from jokes to actual helpful items, like scuba gear and tridents. You can get oxygen tanks to explore new areas. Tridents to kill baddies. And there are a few others but I don’t want to spoil them. (They’re stuff you wouldn’t expect a scuba bear to have.)

The treasure map helps you out by showing your current location and areas you haven’t explored yet. It’s somewhat similar to the first 3D Zelda games (Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask) because it shows you areas that are blank and you should investigate for treasure. It also shows you your current collection.

ScubaBear is an awesome little indie game and you’ll have a blast playing it. Try it out using the links. It’s a browser game so there’s nothing to download. Though the game does load pretty slowly and the music keeps cutting out until it’s loaded.
