T(rip) is a hand-drawn point-and-click adventure that has you guiding a character around doing very random things.

He’s a young guy who lives by himself in an apartment complex. The game goes through a few periods of his lift and you see him change his clothing and appearance as you progress through the “chapters.” You’ll need to combine and look for items in different ways in order to achieve a specific tasks. Don’t want to spoil your trip into insanity! Or did I just do that?

You’ll then find out something is awry as his lift becomes kind of “crazy.” You’ll have to find out what happens for yourself. The game really does take you through T(rip).

P.E. Noire is an adventure point-and-click puzzle game.

You play the role of a hall monitor and it’s your duty to find out what happened with a series of forged notes from PE. Someone is dodging PE class by writing all these notes, and you’re on the case to find out what’s going on. As you traverse Sunnyside Elementary, you’ll play as a private detective walking around the schoolyard looking for clues, talking to students, and listening to some light jazz while you’re at it.

The principal is depending on you to find out what happened to the student Melvin. You’re on it!

P.E. Noire takes about 10 minutes to play and has a unique artwork style. It’s worth playing just for the lulz. And it runs right in your browser so now download is needed. The storyline is amazing!

Zniw Adventure is a colorful point-and-click adventure game with some cartoonish animation and very appealing artwork.

You play as a little yellow dinosaur named Zniw who got lost from her home and now you need to guide her back. You’ll solve puzzles, interact with objects and other characters, and progress throught the storyline by clicking on various objects. It plays like a very simple point-and-click indie game and the cartoonish animation will have you constantly clicking to the next scene of the game.

The game has a very child-like backstory that makes it appropriate for the whole family. It’s like playing through a cartoon in a point-and-click interactive game!

You can try out Zniw Adventure right now with two demo areas which makes it take about 30 minutes to complete. You should play it just for the artwork. It has a cute backstory, cute animations, and a series of quirky characters and puzzle solving all in one game that anyone can play.

Aye Fair Lady is a funny point-and-click game with some nice retro pixel art.

It’s a musical game where you play as a character named Steggy. She wants to stop to a day called National Singing Day. It’s a holiday where everyone needs to sing instead of talk. Pretty crazy.

Steggy hates it and wants to stop it by rigging the singing competition. In other words, she wants to meet the owner of it and assassinate him.

The game plays like any typical point-and-click game. You can click on a variety of objects to interact with them and you’ll also have to talk with many different characters and go through some funny dialog. The game throws some items and “complete the lyrics” type of dialog interactions at you and it’s pretty funny to go through.

Aye Fair Lady will make you laugh with its cute artwork and humorous point-and-click interaction. It features some simple puzzles combined with a cute storyline that’ll you’ll want to check out. You can play it using the link below and try it out for yourself! It’s definitely worth a play through.

The Librarian in is an awesome new indie game that tells a creepy tale- without using a single word.

The game is made by Octavi Navarro who also made another popular title called Midnight Scenes: The Highway. The Librarian takes the same style of gameplay but delivers even more than the previous game.

You play as a lonely librarian who needs to investigate a library in an attempt to get some answers. The game has no dialog. Everything is presented to you by objects, actions, and animations. It’s a very obscure game that leaves a lot of things up in the air for your own interpretation of it.

It’s one of those games that makes you think about what really just happened as you try to piece all the parts of the story together for a few hours after you’ve played it. There’s no concrete ending and it can either be the most meaningful game you’ve played all day or leave you completely confused and convoluted as to what just happened.

Either way, it’s done beautifully. The sound, music, and gorgeous pixel art are all presented so subtly but effectively. The art style is very pretty with a nice color palette and dark tones that throw this indie the horror genre, but not completely so. It’s a dark game with some dark undertones, but at the same time it’s very mysterious and inviting. The animations are also very nice and fluid. It’s not choppy nor half-assed so it just sucks you in.

At its core, The Librarian is a horror-themed point-and-click indie game. It has a few puzzles here and there. But the best part is probably the story. Without words, it really makes you think about what’s going on, which then immerses you into the game even more. It’s a truly atmospheric experience. Excellent presentation and very well done audio/visuals that work in pure harmony. You can tell that passion was put into making this creation.

The game has you exploring a library and you’ll come across a variety of puzzles. I like the puzzles, but some of them are kind of annoying because you’ll keep clicking with no feedback. Others are intuitive and very unique. You’ll feel like you’re making progress, but if you don’t like puzzles, you’ll need to learn how to be patient. Let’s just put it that way so I don’t spoil the game.

The game also has you encounter a previous librarian who plays a major role in the silent storyline. You’ll have to figure out the significance of this person yourself. Again, it’s up to much subjectiveness and interpretation. It is what you think it is.

Shapik: The Quest 2 is a beautiful point-and-click 2D adventure through a fantasy and mysterious world.

It plays just like any classic point-and-click game you grew up with and has the exact same mechanics so there’s nothing new to learn or anything gimmicky to master. It’s just basic “click to go here” type of gameplay, so nothing new there.

Shapik: The Quest 2 takes place in a post-nuclear world where planet Earth has been destroyed by a huge nuclear war. It’s the war we’ve all been dreading. Nuclear bombs going off everywhere has left the world’s landscapes in shambles and leaves a very strange environment to explore. You’re a humanoid creature named Shapik who has finally reached the surface of the Earth after many years following the nuclear war.

You’re out and about to explore the aftermath of what’s remaining and what was the reason for the nuclear war and fallout.

It sounds like a dark plot, no? But the game is actually very lighthearted and enjoyable. You’ll explore a nuclear wasteland and meet a whole cast of quirky and zany characters each with unique personalities. Although the game isn’t complete, you can easily see that it has a nice foundation for a future release. There’s no real objective to the game other than to explore and uncover the story behind the war.

The artwork for this game is mesmerizing. It’s an atmospheric adventure that’ll have you sucked into the plot (which by the way is extremely wacky) and you’ll be clicking and pointing until you’re done with the whole game (it’s still in an early build).

The environments range from earthly divides filled with flora, fauna, and creatures to futuristic laboratories and factories to giant trees with hovering spaceships and swaying bridges many stories up in the air! The game has lush, gorgeous scenery and looks very polished. If you’ve played Ori and Blind Forest, you’ll know how a beautiful game can draw you in. Remember- it’s post-nuclear so plants and creatures have inhabited the world!

The game has you controlling Shapik and solving basic puzzles, exploring, and interacting with various objects, creatures, and humanoids. There’s about 20 minutes of gameplay so far, but the game’s first build just rolled out about 5 days ago from the time of this writing, so it’s still in heavy development.

Tala is a gorgeous indie point-and-click adventure game like nothing you’ve seen before.

The first thing you’ll notice is the amazing artwork. It looks like it was hand-drawn in a professional studio and put together by an AAA developer- no joke. The game takes place in a variety of scenic environments that are all completely inspired by nature photography. The artwork, background, foreground, and even your character are all crisp and clear with a unique art style.

Aside from the artwork, now I have to talk about the animation. The game uses traditional animation techniques that make it look like something from the early days of cartoon animation- think Cuphead, Don’t Starve, Bendy and the Ink Machine, or something. Combine that with gorgeous artwork and you have something worth drooling over. It’s digital animation but uses old-school techniques.

Tala is the name of the game and also the name of the character you play as. She’s a forest spirit who hasn’t exactly found her place in her hometown yet. You’ve been helping the Town Guardian prepare for their treck into the Deep Woods so they can gather liquids for the winter. When they left, your job was to make sure the townspeople stay out of trouble until the Town Guardian comes back.

However, the Baker needs fruit to make fruit pies. The Sproutlings are too troublesome. And the Inventor is doing his own thing. This was repurposed from the game’s intro description and you can see that it’s just an awesome adventure waiting to happen!

The game doesn’t use any dialogue at all. From the demo, you can see that the game uses icons and images to convey thoughts and actions through animations. It’s cute and effective and also breaks down the language barrier so literally, anyone can play it.

When you talk to NPCs int he game, they bring up these little dialogue trees and puzzles you can use to choose what you want to “convey” to them. This is pretty awesome and makes it stand out from text-based point-and-click games that we usually see- if you don’t like reading lots of dialog, this is your game.

There’s also a bunch of characters in the demo that you can interact with. The town literally has one character for each role- kind of like what you’d expect when you were still in preschool. It’s cute and adorable.

The environments are all incredibly detailed with nice animations. You can click on nearly everything and interact with them- even if it’s just for shiggles. You can click on a chimney and smoke comes out. You can click on a window to toggle its position. You can click on pretty much everything in the game and something will happen.

It’s like those old-school Roger Rabbit learning games you grew up with. And some of these items are necessary to click on because you need to interact with them to solve a puzzle. The cursor automatically shifts between different modes depending on what you’re hovering over.

The puzzles are pretty easy from what I’ve played so far, and there are plenty of them. They’re the regular point-and-click style puzzles where you need to collect an item and use it on another item. It’s exactly what you’re used to if you’ve played games like this. They’re pretty intuitive and not too tricky, but finding the items when you have no idea what to look for is the fun part.

The environment, music, and art, and animation are all spot-on and make this an indie adventure you’ll get sucked into and truly immersed. The game is atmospheric, beautiful, and serene with nature references all over. You need to try out Tala to understand what I mean. You haven’t played a game like this before.

A Case of Distrust is a point-and-click adventure game that has you playing as a detective in 1920s San Francisco!

It’s a game that plays a lot like Myst and Phoenix Wright. You play as a private investigator named Phyllis Malone in the early 1900s. You have nothing better to do than talk to your cat when a mysterious new case comes up that requires you to investigate a recent case.

The game plays as a point-and-click adventure filled with silhouettes. It’s very similar to an old-timey film without the black and white. For some reason, the visual art style is very impressive and makes you feel like you’re in a Dick Tracy film or something.

A Case of Distrust has you talking to people of interest and reading their dialog for clues. You also click on any objects that may give you a clue in order to gather evidence and talk to people. A lot of the people you talk to won’t say anything unless you have evidence, so you need to gather it first and pull it out of your notebook before they’ll say anything.

The puzzles aren’t that difficult and the game is rather monotonous in its current build. It lasts just a tad over 14 minutes to beat, but you’ll like the art style. That’s probably the best part about it. The dialog is also nearly perfect and the storyline has good pacing and just flows. The story behind this game seems like something stolen out of a masterpiece novel.

You won’t be able to solve the game until the full version rolls out. But you’ll be able to get a taste of it now. A Case of Distrust is worth a play through just for the fun of it.

You’ll be able to explore a variety of environments like billiard halls, barber shops, and even speakeasies. The game has a historic tone of it and you’ll have to go through many different plot twists in this deceptive adventure! Worth a play.

JORRY is a new point-and-click environmental survival horror game that entrances into its pixelated, psychedelic world.

You play as a young woman named Claire. You’re trapped in a house in a freezing world. You need to explore it to find out why you’re there (as cliche as this setup is).

As you wander around the house, you’ll notice that you’re not alone. Lights are on. Noises are heard. The TV is on. You’ll soon learn that there’s a crazy little girl in the house as well- and some other fiends. This girl is Jorry. You’re attempting to save her.

The house is hauntingly well-designed with beautiful artwork in a pixelated world. The colors, contrast, and lighting make JORRY a game that just encompasses you into its world and doesn’t let you go. You have to play it to understand.

Claire has to deal with these monsters that inhabit this chilly house in freezing cold temperatures. They wander around the house and try to eat you alive as you try to solve the puzzle. You’re armed with a basic pistol which you can use to shoot them down.

Since the game takes place on a 2.5D plane, the aiming can be kind of off.

As you traverse the house to find Jorry, you’ll run into all sorts of scares and some basic puzzles. The enemies inhabit a big portion of the building, and you’ll have to aim and time your attacks to take them down. The game plays similar to older point-and-click titles from the early 90s, and the difficulty seems to have migrated over as well.

The puzzles are simple, but still necessary to the storyline and don’t seem out of place. The monsters are difficult, and they appear throughout the building- randomly. You’ll have to take them down as they can’t always be avoided. Your gun isn’t really a pistol though- it shoots teeth. Aim for the head to deal bonus damage!

If you’re into puzzle horror games with a point-and-click interface, JORRY is well worth checking out. It’s a very atmospheric game. It draws you in and scares you with the immersion rather than jumpscares. The game’s worth a play.

Twilight Town is a point-and-click detective mystery game with a twist.

You play as a detective in Twilight Town and your only objective is to uncover the hidden, dark secret of the town and stop the villains from overruling it. You’re the last detective in your line and you’ve been sent to this awfully strange town in order to find out what happened to your predecessor- Constantine.

As you start digging into the clues, you find out that this place holds a lot more than what meets the eye.

The game is pretty much a hidden objects type of game, where you need to find an assortment of laid out objects on a panel and find these objects on the screen in a still image. You point, click, and find them. With all the storyline aside, Twilight Town is an expansive “find the object” game. The only difference that it offers is an in-depth story, which you don’t often see with typical games of this genre.

It also has some other features like city-building and basic combat. You can use magical abilities to fight some evil villains, but it’s very, very basic. You also have resource management with a limited supply of goods, so there are some RPG elements as well.

Each citizen has a reputation meter that you have to improve and the cast of characters is pretty well-done. They each have two separate guises for you to uncover.

The game also has a few minigames thrown in that make it feel like you’re playing a cheap puzzle game on your phone. These are pretty annoying but are required to progress.

As for the actually puzzle-solving, it’s decent. You can complete over 100 magic collections of items and explore very detailed environments.

Twilight Town is like a hybrid of a point-and-click detective game, city-builder, and graphic novel all into one game with basic monster battles and a pretty awesome storyline.

It’s a very corny game, but if you like roleplaying or you want to try something new and visually-appealing, give Twilight Town a try (especially if you like point-and-click games).
