Stoneshard is an awesome and addicting top-down dungeon crawler.

You explore many different caves and dungeons filled with crawling monsters in a procedurally-generated world. It seems like this format is a lot more popular nowadays because it gives players a unique adventure every time. The game plays similar to Diablo and Darkest Dungeon, where you play as a mercenary who’s out to take down a tyrant king and help establish peace to Aldor.

You’ll crawl dungeons, explore various lands, and fight tons of monsters. You’ll also get rewarded handsomely with plenty o’ loot to go around and also get a group of followers who’ll help you out along your quest. This is a pretty cool feature that not many of these games have and something I’d like to see more of. The game is difficult, so you’ll need as much help as you can get.

Stoneshard is currently in early access with just a prologue and about 2 hours of gameplay. The game’s lore, storyline, and artwork make it seem like an old-school classic that’ll have you nostalgic for days. The combat system is easy to learn, but also very strategic gameplay elements and a lot of equips that’ll help you on your adventure. The Caravan of allies is awesome and you can expand your following as you progress.

Your character also will have to deal with traumas that can only be fixed with drugs. The game also has meters for food and water, upgradable and customizable characters, and over 100 weapons to draw.

If you’re looking for an addicting, polished, and awesome roguelike dungeon crawler, try out Stoneshard. It’s one of the most appealing and simplistic yet addicting roguelikes I’ve come across recently. Definitely worth a play if you like dungeon crawlers with older style artwork that’ll remind you of the good times.

Echo – Our Voice is an awesome little indie RPG game.

It features a top-down perspective and pixelated graphics that’ll instantly remind you of classics like The Secret of Mana and even old-school Zelda.

You start out as an adventurer that has the need to prove herself by hunting down monsters and bringing back tons of treasure. It’s heavily influenced by JRPGs with the dialogue boxes and anime character portraits. Whether or not it’s truly a JPRG, you can clearly see the eastern influence this game possesses. And it’s awesome.

You slay enemies, solve puzzles, and go on side quests alongside your main quest.

Explore dungeons, mines, caves, fields, and towns as you travel around to different lands questing and helping people. Ther are over 10 puzzles and mini mages to play through.

The game features a skill tree that progresses with earned points for every time you level up (SP). You use these points to level up your skills with over 50 to choose from. Each skill is detailed with required levels, EN (mana) cost, cast time, cooldown timers, and elemental damage. Each character also has an Ultimate skill as well which slices the screen into fancy anime battle scene and has tons of eye candy for you to appreciate.

The characters also have individual stats that level up as well- you have stats like critical damage (CRI), final damage, EN (mana) cost, healing power, etc. The game has all the RPG elements you’d expect. It’s called the growth system and your characters’ abilities get enhanced depending on what you do in each boss fight.

Echo also features three original tracks in its OST and an original opening cinematic that looks absolutely stunning.

It’s made by a Taiwanese team called Nobody Studio and took over 7 years to develop. In is current build, there are about 3-4 hours of gameplay if you take the time to explore everything. You play with the keyboard and mouse and it offers configurable hotkeys as well as a difficulty system.

If you like action RPGs, try out Echo – Our Voice. It’s a fresh take on the genre and one of the best indie RPGs released in a while.

Wild West Online is an online MMORPG with a western theme. It looks awesome and has players battling it out in a violent, western world.

Players can choose to become a hero or villain. From what I’ve seen, the game looks like you have a lot of freedom to do whatever you want. Kill others or help others. It’s up to you.

In the huge online world from the screenshots that have been released, you can do everything you’d expect from an MMORPG. You can grind, quest, farm, explore, get loot, solve puzzles, break safes, kill enemies and other players, steal items and more. It’s vastly different from traditional RPGs as many are fantasy-based. Wild West Online is an old-timey setting that’ll have you drooling at the gorgeous graphics and a huge world. There are a ton of towns, saloons, settlements, and even real landmarks. Players can interact with the different environments, day/night cycles, weather effects, and many other hazards. There are a ton of places to explore. This is a game I’ll be watching for release.

The development team is made up of people who’ve worked on games like Call of Duty, Crysis, League of Legends, Neverwinter Nights, and other huge AAA titles. Expect nothing less. The game looks promising as it is right now.

Currently, there are no videos of the game in action other than some teaser screenshots. But this game looks like a winner. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on this title.
