Duster is a steampunk Wild West adventure game that has that old-school top-down perspective like in the Atari days.

You play as a random dude and you’re running across the desert with various areas that are procedurally-generated. There are towns that let you heal up, but pretty much everything else will kill you. You’ll run into bandits, robots, animals, and even lawmen all scouring around for someone to kill (you). You can encounter weather conditions like frostbite or even get killed by sunburn or food poisoning. The game resets when you get slaughtered. The game makes it very tense when you need to watch out for nearly everything under the sun.

The primary objective of the game is to find and take over the richest goldmine in the land, but you need to work your way out there by buying tools and earning cash. You can do this by shifting minerals, mining for gold, doing quests, and even killing outlaw bandits and getting rewarded so you can upgrade yourself!

The game has six different classes to choose from with unique attributes. You should get some cash fast to buy ammo and a gun when you start so you can stretch out your time before you get killed and need to restart again.

Duster features some neat artwork and is definitely worth a play. It’s a roguelike that’s truly unique.

Klepto is a 3D indie platformer where you play as an alien thief who built a complete simulator of stealing from the Wild West to practice in.

Yup, that’s right.

You’re a master thief who needs to hone his thieving skills in the Wild, Wild West. And you’ve built a full simulator completely out of cardboard.

That means the game is pretty much a constant parkour platformer where you need to collect objects and items and do it as fast as possible. The game plays as a crazy 3D platformer with a lot of different elements like using a grappling hook to hang on lamps, moving platforms, regular jumps, and obstacles. It’s a non-stop fast-paced game with a lot of precision platforming.

It has a nice control scheme that works well except for some parts where you need to time your hook to grapple on stuff. There are also parts where you need to time your jumps and the platforms are a total miss. You think you’ll it, but you’ll just miss it. It’s pretty annoying, but then again, the game is still in beta and has a lot of potentials.

The game features a hub area with 5 main levels. Each level has special items you need to steal as you progress. There are also a lot of quirky objects for you to appreciate. And there are even hidden secrets for you to check out.
