Blink is an awesome first-person narrative adventure with a paper-and-pencil art style.

You play as a crazy inpatient who’s in a conversation with his psychiatrist. You have some mental condition that affects how you perceive the world around you. Specifically, you can’t interact nor open up to anyone around you. Basically, you’re alone in a lonely world. Everyone else is gone.

But not completely gone.

The catch is that they’re only visibly-gone. Everything else remains (that’s how you can talk to your shrink in the first place!). You can still feel others’ warmth, hear their voice, and talk to them. But you can’t see them. This is a unique concept I’ve never seen before and it makes for an interesting experience.

You’ll interact with your shrink for a bit and you’ll have to answer some questions. As you go through a nostalgic trip that dives into the realm of your roots, you’ll get these crazy scenes that show why you are the way you are. You’re like a mute, but only for visible people. Without spoiling the plot, it’s a pretty trippy game. You’ll have to play it yourself to find out the cause of your nature and condition.

Blink is a quick experience. If you take the time to explore everything and play through it slowly, you can finish it in about 15-20 minutes. The best part about it is the artwork. The art style is fluid and smooth with everything drawn out in pencil. The hand-drawn style is just something that makes you “ooh” and “ahh” at normal everyday objects. The narration is also spot-on and is interesting to listen to. You’ll be absorbed into the game enough to find out what happens when you shut yourself off from the world!

Past Cure is a first-person horror game that plays on your psychological senses.

The game has you playing as a retired soldier named Ian. He was captured and went through hours of painful torture and crazy science experiments which have left him in a destroyed and crippled mental states. He sees flashbacks of the time and nightmares all around. However, this has enabled him to use special abilities.

You’ll be able to manipulate time and also control objects from afar. I guess not all of the science experiments were bad. Some must’ve paid off. Getting astral projection isn’t necessarily a bad ability, eh?

The game has you searching for clues and answers. You explore a dark, damp building in search of the people who did this to you alongside your trusted brother. The game takes place in a prison that you’d think is abandoned, but guess again. Ian is torn between the real world and the nightmares he gets from his dreams, so the game blends dreams and reality into one experience.

Past Cure has a few scares that are quite unexpected and mixes both horror and stealth into one game. This isn’t a new concept or anything as many games have done this before- namely Amnesia.

However, there are also some parts where you need to use your abilities in order to solve puzzles as well. You’ll use gun battles and combos from your fists as well. You’ll have to use both action and stealth elements in order to progress.

If you’re a fan of some good psychological horror, you need to check out Past Cure. It’s more of a thriller game than a horror game, but it still has that scary element to it. It’s got monsters. And the graphics are extremely realistic. It also has a strong storyline element to it as well.

Do You Copy? is a scary little horror game that takes place in a dense forest- at night.

You’re a park ranger. You’d think you’d know everything about your own forest, but there’s a lot more to it than you thought. That’s because you’re new and you just got the job- probably with no training. You work in a tall watchtower that’s built right in the densest area of the forest. You can see nearly everything from here- the forest, the lake, and even some light amongst the trees.

You notice that the neighboring partner that works in the watchtower next to you has ended their shift, but then a call comes into your radio. It’s a lost hiker who needs your help to guide this person to your tower for the night.

You’re scared. You’re distressed. You don’t know where this person may be. And there’s more than just some wildlife that you look out for.

In the tower, you can do a few different actions like using your map in order to guide the hiker towards your tower. You can see their flashlight in the trees, so you know their position. You can also use your floodlight as well. Both of these tools are required in order to help the hiker other than the radio.

But you quickly notice that there’s also another entity out there besides the hiker. You hear strange noises on the radio. You see some article clippings all over your board in the tower. And you also hear some echoing amongst the trees in the forest. What could it be?

Without spoiling the ending, you’re in for a suspensful ride. Do You Copy is a game complete with voice acting and a lot of build-up. While the game is pretty polished, the ending could use some work. That’s probably the only issue with it. Perhaps a future update will make it more “satisfyingly scary.”

If you’re looking for a unique twist on the horror and suspense genre, Do You Copy? is a game y ou don’t want to miss out on. The graphics, sound, and concept are all well-done and the twist is unique.
