The Dummy Experiment is a physics-based simulator where you play a test dummy and you need to undergo horrible experiments conducted by a mad scientist!

The scientist is Dr. Strohmann. Sadly, you have no choice but to incur his set of horrific and painful science experiments.

You start out the game by selecting your dummy of choice. There are a few different ones you can choose from and then the experiments will begin!

A giant hook grapples you to bring you to the testing labs, but then, it loses grip around you.

Now you fall to the floor and you get instantaneous life. You’re now a walking dummy. This is where you (the player) come in. It’s your only chance to escape the lab and live a free dummy life.

Of course, being a dummy all your life,  you don’t really know how to do basic functions, such as walking. You need to balance yourself and escape the horrible experiments that were conducted on you- and the many more that are coming. But to escape, you’ll need to carefully pace yourself, dodge objects in the lab, and face a variety of obstacles that’ll definitely come your way!

The game plays like a walking simulator similar to One Small Step and Tentagraba. You need to just “walk” to your goal but you need to pace it so you don’t topple and collapse inward upon yourself. Once you start gaining some momentum and moving, you won’t be able to stop.

It’s a pretty difficult game that’ll guarantee some raging and also some laughs. That’s pretty much all physics-based simulators nowadays. It’s full of laughs because it’s so difficult to do such a basic command.

All you need to do is walk to your goal- and that’s it!

There are a few checkpoints here and there to save you some rage, and there’s even a slightly witty narrator that’ll caption your adventure!

The Dummy Experiment is playable with both keyboard/mouse and a controller as well. Using the controller is suggested because it makes the process a lot easier.

It uses low-poly graphics in a variety of environments. You’ll feel like you’re traveling all over the world from labs to forests to waterfalls.

Walk Sim Walk Sim is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a walking simulator.

It’s based on the first-person narrative theme where you walk around and you have a narrator that speaks to you. It’s similar to a game called Dear Esther, which was an amazing story and well done.

Walk Sim Walk Sim is a quick game that only lasts about 12 minutes. You go through the simulation of a walking simulation.

Is a walking simulator really a video game? Well, the whole point of the game is to discuss that matter. There are some really valid points thrown out here and there and makes you rethink about your opinion towards the genre. I don’t want to ruin any of the dialogue, you’ll have to see for yourself.

Walk Sim Walk Sim is an interesting “game” that’s full of surprises. A playthrough should take you no time at all and offers great points to talk about.

If you’re making a Let’s Play video, it’ll give plenty of opportunities to give your own thoughts on the matter.

Overall, you’ll learn some tidbits of knowledge about the genre and you just may have a deeper understanding for walking sims (especially if you’re against them).

The game takes you through the process of how a walking sim is created and how they work. It also talks about how they fit into the world of gaming and discusses critics’ opinions about them.
