BattleRush (Early Access) – An Online WWII FPS with a Ton of Vehicles, Weapons, and a Crafting System

Game Description

BattleRush is an online multiplayer FPS game that combines elements from Fortnite and traditional shooters.

It’s based on WWII. You’re a soldier. You’re thrown into a war ground. You need to mow down the enemy team. What more explanation could you want?

The game isn’t heavily focused on an epic storyline or anything. It’s pretty much made just for the hectic, chaotic, online FPS multiplayer. It’s pretty much just like any other FPS out there and doesn’t really offer anything special on that front.

What is actually special about BattleRush is the ability to build.

That’s right. You can build. Imagine an FPS game where you go around shooting down the enemy but you have the ability to instantly build defense structures to help you. This is what Fortnite does and that game went viral.

BattleRush takes the same concept and throws it into an FPS game. Does it work? Kinda.

It’s still a little shaky and needs a lot of work, but the idea behind it is decent. You can easily build a defensive barrier to an oncoming enemy attack in order to defend yourself.

The game also has vehicles, total environmental destruction, and even a day/night cycle. But the building is the fun part. You can construct bunkers, towers, searchlights, stationary guns, booms, and a lot more. You can be defending your base with your buddies on a frontline at night looking for enemy soldiers. It’s awesome.

There are over 30 vehicles for you to drive as well- ranging from light, medium, and heavy tanks to trucks to cars to mobile gun turrets. You can wield over 20 guns as well. Everything from rifles to pistols to grenade launchers.

BattleRush is currently in early access and is planned to be free-to-play. There are hacking issues at the moment, but it should be resolved when a cheat engine is implemented.

It’s still a cool concept that’s worth a try. If you like Fortnite or FPS games, try out BattleRush.
