Peach’s Castle Community Guidelines

Peach’s Castle is a place to play the newest alpha, beta, and indie games.

It’s a platform where both players and developers can meet at a happy medium. It’s a place where indie developers can tell the world about their newest creation and promote their game. It’s a place where YouTubers, Let’s Players, Twitch Streamers, and even the casual gamer can discover and play the best trending games.

It was built for gamers, by a gamer.

To make it work for everyone, we need some ground rules. So here we go.

The few ground rules:

Comments: We take pride in free speech. We encourage open discussions and debates about how hot a deal is. However, don’t encourage hatred or negativity on some arbitrary basis such as race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation. We try not to censor anything, but if the community believes a reply or post is too malicious, it may get removed (or if it violates the ToU). Try to keep comments focused on the deal rather than attacking other users for disagreements.

Note that we don’t always listen to the community. Just because a post or reply is an unpopular opinion against the majority doesn’t mean it’ll get removed…even if voted against by 99% of the community. We keep these up. We want every user to have a chance to say what they want. And also note that some stuff is censored automatically due to spam protection (which are usually reviewed manually).

Behavior: Don’t post anything that’s directly defamatory, threatening, harmful, offensive, or invasive of the privacy of another user. Don’t post anything that’s descriptive of illegal activity or unsafe activity and/or that encourages others to do so. Don’t spam.

Account: Your account is your responsibility. Don’t share it with anyone else. Don’t spam other users. Don’t use it to spam comments. Don’t use it to spam your channel. Don’t use it to self-promote, unless you’re a developer and you’re promoting responsibly. Don’t make multiple accounts to upvote or downvote other users’ comments or games, or to manipulate the system.

Violation of these rules may result in a warning, ban, or loss of points, and removal of your content. And a big embarrassment and blow to your ego when you get featured in our Hall of Lame.

Note that the ToU overrides any situation not spoken for in this guidelines. In other words, if you’re unsure about anything, read the ToU. In the case of any conflict, the ToU is the default legal document.
