Total War: Arena is a hybrid of an RTS (real-time strategy) and MOBA game combined into one.
It’s a huge war game made by some big developers in the space. Namely, Wargaming, Sega, and Total War themselves. The game pits you in giant scale 10 vs. 10 player online multiplayer wars against each other. You’ll be in control of huge armies that’ll follow your every whim. It’s up to your hands and your team’s combined efforts to win. You need communication, strategy, and cooperation with your team. It’s vital to victory.
You’ll get to choose a commander and then lead their armies in battle. You take control of three units on the field. Each unit controls dozens of smaller units. As you can see, with so many players in one game, it’ll be a large-scale war.. If you’re a fan of games like Civilization, Dynasty Warriors, or even classics like Starcraft or Warcraft, you’ll probably like Total War: Arena.
It’s been released as a beta game and is now available for sign ups. It’s all about huge wars and giant battles with hundreds of units on-screen simultaneously.
