Into the Deep is a survival game where you need to explore deep jungles and avoid getting killed.
You play the role of a guy named David who abandoned a sinking ship. You end up on an island populated with dense forests and jungles. And you need to survive it. That’s the objective of the game. You need to build a raft and escape the island.
You’ll have to scavenge for resources including building materials and food. The game has a building and crafting system with a grid-like setup similar to games like Ark: Survival Evolved. Into the Deep is pretty awesome since it simulates actually getting shipwrecked and being lost on an island.
You’ll have to also venture around with caution as there are several tribes that live on the island and will try to kill you. You’re not alone on this island. You’ll need to venture safely as you explore.
The game allows you to explore huge dense jungles and discover resources, other islands, temples, caves, new lands, and friendly (and enemy) tribes. There are also villages scattered throughout where these tribes are located.
Into the Deep is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and the graphics look amazing. The weather, environment, and even people look amazing. The game is still in alpha, but it already looks very promising.
