Contradiction is a sidescrolling indie action shoot ’em up.
You need to shoot and jump your way through levels filled with baddies everywhere. It features throwback retro graphics with awesome pixel art that’s clearly inspired by the legendary Contra series.
It takes place in 1920 with AI bots that are taking over the world. You play as Billy Lancer who’s part of a group called the Contradiction unit. You’re sent to take down these bots and evil mastermind behind them- Dr. Hiroshita.
The game offers a huge variety of baddies, bosses, and platforming. You also travel through many different environments. There are a ton of enemies to blast into bits and platforming elements as well. The game is silky smooth and runs right in your browser.
And it’s very difficult.
The game will make you rage as you constantly get blown to bits or falling into pits. Contradiction is clearly geared for those who are up for a challenge. Shoot up baddies. Jump from platform to platform. Dodge environmental hazards. All while listening to some awesome tracks in the background.
It’s an action sidescroller that’s just packed with kickass.
