Christmas Present is a unique sidescrolling platformer where you play as Santa trapped in a computer.
It’s a festive little game that has you running around between different browser windows on a Windows computer with a blank desktop! Your only goal is to look for hidden presents on each level and collect them. but it’s not just any platformer- Santa’s got special abilities as well.
After all, he’s magical, isn’t he?
The game starts out in one giant browser (which forms the level’s boundaries) and you need to jump from platform to platform using individual browser windows (what happened to tabs?).
There’s a present in each window and you need to find them all. There are 6 levels in total. Some of the windows are also Mac windows…on a Windows background.
it’s a pretty awesome concept that’s difficult to explain. But the game is pretty entertaining nonetheless. Each individual browser window has a different Santa that you need to control and move around. They can merge together if you get two or more of them in the same window together- and you’ll have to in order to use them as stepping stones to reach higher ledges!
Christman Present isn’t a difficult platformer nor one that’ll last you for days. It can be completed fairly quickly, but it’s more for the festive spirit and the unique concept of this platformer. It like combines Santa, Christmas, and Google Chrome all into one game. You ain’t gonna find that anywhere else.
It plays in your browser so you can play in your browser!
The levels are well-done and it’s a pretty tight platformer that’s just for the holidays.
We chose this game just for the holidays. Have fun and try it out.
Happy holidays from Peach’s Castle! Expect treats all year round for 2018!
