I Am A Box is a story-based game where you play as a box.
If you’ve played I Am Bread, it’s kind of the same silliness. You’re a box that’s given challenges and you need to complete them in order to progress through the story. It’s an abstract story that doesn’t mean any real sense but it’s whatever you want it to be. It’s unique for every player.
The game is on a 2D plane and is a platformer at its core. The graphics are appealing as you’d expect with a lot of games like this. It’s built on the Unity engine so you can expect silky smooth framerates with vivid graphics.
You’ll be platforming through many puzzles and obstacles trying to reach the goal. It’s pretty difficult and frustrating, but that’s what makes it entertaining.
There are a total of 10 levels, however, the game has been discontinued. The developers have decided to switch from Unity to UE4, so a new project was started.
I Am A Box is still available for download. It’s pretty much abandonware at this point, but it’s still very entertaining to play.
