Wahkan is a super pretty 2D puzzle-platforming adventure game with a twist that I simply adore.
You need to draw platforms, buildings, and structures in order to help create a path through levels within a shaman’s mind. You play as a Native American who gains access to the mind of a shaman to prove some ritual or something. You explore the mind and all the thoughts and feelings that come along with it. It’s a beautiful and trippy place.
You use your powers to draw stuff in order to make progress through the levels and use a variety of powers that can be used at your will in order to make progress. You have the power to create ropes that can chain objects together or create bouncy structures that can give you air in order to reach higher ledges or draw solid structures like bridges. The game gives you plenty of creativity in order to progress and there’s no limit or “proper” way to beat the game.
Wahkan comes with its share of bugs, but being such a freedom-chasing game, it’s expected. The game is still worth a play through just because it’s so freakin’ awesome.
- Draw, build, and link platforms together
- Awesome artwork
- Unique
- Some bugs here and there throughout the game

I play the newest to the crappiest indie games and filter them for the rest of the crew.
In other words, I’m a bottom-feeder. Why do I volunteer for this trash?
