Safeguards is a new futuristic multiplayer game where the focus is team-based vehicle combat.
It’s kinda like any typical FPS, except that you play in a fully-customizable vehicle that you build with tons of different parts and accessories. Think World of Tanks or Heroes in the Sky. But with futuristic vehicles instead.
You’re pitted against another team in heavy vehicles that can be modulated with tons of different weapons like lasers, cannons, plasma guns, and more. Each weapon can also have extra abilities attached to them as well. So it’s like a weapon with an active ability you can use at your command.
There are also a ton of defensive equips like shields, armor, and even repair drones that heal your teammates and drones that reveal hidden enemies. The customization is pretty deep even for a beta game.
Your vehicle is your Safeguard.
The game looks pretty good and is open for beta sign ups. You can win a key to be one of the first to play Safeguards. I can see this game being a very fun team-based strategy shooter if it takes off and even has the potential for expert-level gameplay.
