If you like the Binding of Isaac, you’ll probably want to check out Under The Farm. They’re similar in a weird way.
This game is a difficult arcade-style game with voxel-based graphics. You play as a farmer who needs to destroy all the baddies under his farm.
You start out with nothing and you need to progress through the dungeons to get more powerful weapons. You only have a garden rake and a weak handgun in the beginning. You can use your earned cash to buy stuff from the shop.
All the levels are procedurally generated and you’ll come across all sorts of baddies. You’ll also find chickens which you can rescue from their cages and then follow you as an AI-controlled ally. They fire at enemies for you automatically.
The game is still in prototype development, but it’s already a very fun game with decent graphics. There are a few weapons and the dungeons are very well designed. It’s a single player game that’ll have you busy for a bit and makes for an excellent Let’s Play.
Later on, the developers also plan to add co-op, PvE, MOBA, and even FFA modes. That would awesome and could turn this game into a major hit. Especially if it becomes a competitive game.
Check out Under the Farm using the links below. It’s a fun game worth playing.
The game download also comes with a readme that you should check out. The controls are listed within the document since they’re not quite intuitive for beginners.
