SailStar is a simulator with a simple goal: race across the island to the goal point before the sun sets.
It’s that easy. It’s supposed to be a simple game where you just sail the lands as fast as you possibly can sail with the winds. There’s nothing else to it.
It’s a very relaxing, calming, and retro-style windsailing game where you play as a silhouette of a surfer and you need to just sail across the island.
Land windsurfing isn’t that popular of a sport, and I didn’t even know it was a thing before this game.
The game has realistic physics and offers a pretty challenging control scheme. But it’s easy to pick up and you need to master it.
The artwork is a 70s style retro surfboard design. The sky, surf, and even the flags all have the same design scheme.
Try out SailStar. It’s a fun little windsurfing simulator.
- Phsyics are difficult to master but easy to get the hang of
- Relaxing
- Groovy artwork
- You’ll want more islands to surf on when you’re done
