Zero-K (Early Access) – An RTS Game with Destructive Environments and 16v16 Online Wars

Game Description

Zero-K is an RTS game that takes place in a world with giant robots, mechs, and lots of…mountains.

It’s an actual RTS game (not turned-based) that has you commanding armies of battling robots. The twist is that you can physically manipulate the terrain. This means you can move mountains (literally). You can destroy the battlefield with tons of craters that actually are useful for slowing down enemy vehicles. You can dig canals to make a backdoor entrance. You can construct bridges, ramps, and even whole fortresses to defend your base.

You drive huge robots, build armies of hundreds of minions, and manipulate the environment to beat the enemy. There are over 100 units each with their own weakness, strengths, and abilities.

The game is awesome because it offers both single-player campaign and multiplayer modes. You can pit yourself against the computer AI (which doesn’t cheat) to train up for the real thing- online multiplayer. It offers 1v1 to 16v16 cooperative gameplay. You can team up with random people or friends to play co-op against other players or AI bots. It also has 1v1 ladder and tourney modes and even FFA. There’s also a competitive gaming ladder.

Zero-K has a fully-utilized physics engine for units, lasers, and projectile movements. You can use smaller units to dodge slow projectiles. You can hide behind hills and objects. You can even throw other units across the entire battlefield with gravity guns. It’s a unique take on an RTS game.

The game is free to play and doesn’t require any purchases. There’s no pay-to-win and no in-game currency. It’s all about fairness. Other plays won’t have an advantage over you because they spend more cash.

Zero-K is a gorgeous game with beautiful environments and artwork. It’s available for download and is completely free to play.
