Clippy’s Awakening is an awesome little dungeon crawler on your desktop where you play as the annoying little paperclip assistant from Microsoft Word!

You need to search through files, learn skills and abilities, and even fight enemies all over the computer’s hard drive on an abandoned PC from the 95 era. You’ll have to clean up the hard disk by defeating a rogue program that’s filling it up like a virus or trojan. Clippy can move around the desktop and search a variety of folders. You’ll find keys, delete files, and even unlock special ability which will let you progress. You can even fire a mouse pointer across the desktop to fight corrupted folders and bosses!

Clippy’s Awakening is an awesome little desktop simulator game that’s worth a play. If you grew up in the 90s, you’ll be happy to see that Clippy’s back (or not)! Try out the game using the link and take a trip back to the 90s.

The National Library of Geometric Impossibilities! is a puzzle game where you explore a library and need to solve some mind-bending spaces and puzzles as you try to return books to their proper location in a surreal library.

It’s like getting trapped in one of those impossible optical illusion puzzles. Your a dude that just started his new job at the library and all you need to do is turn books in to where they belong on the shelves. It seems easy, but it’s not. You need to navigate some complex areas that really make you think what exactly you’re looking at. You need to solve puzzles and get across some impossible spaces that don’t make sense in order to progress. It really screws with your perception.

The game is only about 20 minutes long but it’s a very complicated puzzler with some imposing architecture and creative and difficult puzzle design. If you’re looking for a trippy puzzler, try out The National Library of Geometric Impossibilities!

JORRY is a new point-and-click environmental survival horror game that entrances into its pixelated, psychedelic world.

You play as a young woman named Claire. You’re trapped in a house in a freezing world. You need to explore it to find out why you’re there (as cliche as this setup is).

As you wander around the house, you’ll notice that you’re not alone. Lights are on. Noises are heard. The TV is on. You’ll soon learn that there’s a crazy little girl in the house as well- and some other fiends. This girl is Jorry. You’re attempting to save her.

The house is hauntingly well-designed with beautiful artwork in a pixelated world. The colors, contrast, and lighting make JORRY a game that just encompasses you into its world and doesn’t let you go. You have to play it to understand.

Claire has to deal with these monsters that inhabit this chilly house in freezing cold temperatures. They wander around the house and try to eat you alive as you try to solve the puzzle. You’re armed with a basic pistol which you can use to shoot them down.

Since the game takes place on a 2.5D plane, the aiming can be kind of off.

As you traverse the house to find Jorry, you’ll run into all sorts of scares and some basic puzzles. The enemies inhabit a big portion of the building, and you’ll have to aim and time your attacks to take them down. The game plays similar to older point-and-click titles from the early 90s, and the difficulty seems to have migrated over as well.

The puzzles are simple, but still necessary to the storyline and don’t seem out of place. The monsters are difficult, and they appear throughout the building- randomly. You’ll have to take them down as they can’t always be avoided. Your gun isn’t really a pistol though- it shoots teeth. Aim for the head to deal bonus damage!

If you’re into puzzle horror games with a point-and-click interface, JORRY is well worth checking out. It’s a very atmospheric game. It draws you in and scares you with the immersion rather than jumpscares. The game’s worth a play.

Lost to Time is a 2D sidescrolling action platformer where you need to hack and slash your way through time.

It’s a pretty fast-paced platformer that’ll remind you of other 2D legends like Contra. The game takes place in a gothic-themed world where you play as a hero who has the ability to control the flow of time. This is a unique take to the genre as not many other games have this concept. You can pause time using the “CTRL” key, which can level the playing field and allow you to get past enemies that are in your way.

The game is an RPG, but plays like a platformer.

Using your time control abilities, you can find your enemies’ weaknesses. You’ll have to use your abilities in order to defeat an assortment of enemies throughout each level. By being able to stop the flow of time, you have an extended window to kill and defeat the baddies littered throughout each level.

There are also bosses. They’re tough. You’ll have to pretty much be a master at this game to kill them (or go through a lot of trial and error). The Early Access version of Lost to Time has two bosses for you to defeat.

There’s also something called “Magi” you’ll find as you play through the game. Magi lets you unlock various attacks and weapon selection. It’s basically like changing forms or characters. Each different version allows you to alter your weapon, abilities, and combat style. You can swap through them and use the style that suits you. You can find up to three Magi and each one is distinctly different from the others. It’s actually like playing the game with a completely different experience with each different Magi.

Lost to Time has gorgeous retro 2D graphics with colorful sprites and level design. It’s very appealing to look at and will have you going nostalgic.

You can try out the demo of Lost to Time using the link below. It’s still in Early Access but already looks very promising. If you like games like Shovel Knight, Contra, or Bloodborne, you’ll like this game. Try it out.

There are plans for additional characters, enemies, bosses, a storyline, and even an open-world. This would make it seem like a true RPG with all these basic elements implemented. As of now, the game plays like a platformer with RPG elements. But adding more features will balance it out. You get the feeling that it wants to be an RPG with a platforming gameplay style, but it’s not fully there yet.

Draw Puzzle is an indie puzzle game.

The objective of the game is to connect all the nodes to draw a work of pixlel art. Sure, it sounds kinda confusing, but it’s really simple. And addictive.

If you’ve played Picross, it’s just like that. you draw connections to differents points on the grid using blocks with numbers on them. The number means the amount of squares you can use to connect them together. It’s hard to explain, but you’ll understand when you play it.

It’s a unique puzzler and it’s fun to play as you draw the pixel picture.

Draw Puzzle is currently in beta but there’s a level editor for you to create your own puzzles. It also has different modes- normal, jigsaw, challenge, and random mode. The game also promises no DLC. The whole game is free.

Try it out for yourself. It makes for an awesome stress killer and relaxing game to play.
