Overcharged is an indie game where you go around with a ton of extra energy. And you need to decide whether you want to harm or help others.
You’re a programmed robot who got overcharged (hence the name- Overcharged). You go around posing as a threat to others and anyone that approaches you will cause you to steal their energy. This will only add to your already overcharged battery.
With this extra power, you constantly use it as a projectile, but you can’t stop shooting.
You can either try to avoid killing innocent people, but at the same time, you can kill anyone you’d like. The only problem is that everyone you kill only adds to your power. This will add to your power bank and you’ll gain extra energy. It’s a cycle.
If you decide to save the people from your destructive mannerisms, you can avoid them and look for discharge bombs that take away your energy. The only problem is that they’re volatile and will destroy anyone within proximity of them. You need to find an open area to discharge.
It’s up to you to make your decisions in Overcharged. It’s an entertaining indie game with retro pixel art and a comedic take on the robot takeover. The humans have little chat bubbles with random text. They splatter when you get near them. The army will come after you. The music is fast-paced. The effects are awesome. Pick your path and beep boop.
It plays in your browser, so no download is needed. You have no excuse not to give this little game a try.
