Aloha: Paradise Hotel is a tycoon-like game where you’re in charge of building vacation resorts.
You’re a hotel manager and you need to build the best hotel possible so you can bring in the guests…and the cash. It’s a little different from other builders because you can interact with other players online, and even send tourists over to other hotels to help them out (they can do the same for you).
It features your traditional top-down view with Rollercoaster Tycoon style graphics. The artwork is detailed and colorful, though a lot of the structures look the same.
The game promises a lot of customization though, so there will probably be an in-depth editor to change colors, theme, etc.
Tourists are your main objective. You need to keep them happy and satisfied by suiting their needs and building the proper attractions. Each tourist is unique and has his/her own wants, so there is no generic blanket formula to win every game. You need to build accordingly.
Aloha: Paradise Hotel is an online game with lots of player interactions. That’s a new twist on the traditional tycoon-type games.
The game is scheduled to release this month. I’ll keep you updated.
It looks like a pretty fun and promising title that’ll free to play. Hopefully, microtransactions don’t ruin the game and make it pay to win. That would totally destroy the integrity.
- Colorful and appealing artwork
- Rollercoaster Tycoon style gameplay
- Online player interactions
- Possible microtransaction pay to win structure (free to play)
