Only a Lab Slime is a platformer game with sidescrolling and vertical-scaling glory.
You control a giant slime run amok and you need to smash all of the researchers in the lab. They created you, so you know you need to destroy them.
Why? I have no idea. Because you’re a slime. That’s why.
You’ve been created by accident in a huge lab with tons of scientists. All you want to do is escape from the holds of this prison, but your researchers want to keep you there to investigate you further. The only way is to kill them all by squishing them and running for the exit door.
It’s an easy but fun little platformer that’ll have you timing your jumps and consuming humans. A lot of them don’t harm you like traditional platformers, but some are equipped with guns later on. But they’re still no match for your slimy self.
The game is pretty big and you need to scale vertically while sidescrolling at the same time. When you reach the top, you win.
Only a Lab Slime features simple 2D graphics, but they’re very detailed at the same time. I’m not sure what to call the style, but it’s surely eye-catching and nice to look at. The game’s concept isn’t anything new, but it’s still fun to play as a platformer.
It runs directly in your browser so it requires no download nor installation. Try it out using the link below and slime up.
