Spellbreak is a battle royale online RPG with awesome visuals and a spellcasting system that allows players to combine and unleash powerful spells to nuke their opponents.

The game is basically battle royale with spells and RPG elements with some strategic combat. You can equip gauntlets that give you access to two skills- one weak but fast skill and one slow but powerful skill. And you can combine then together to create new attacks that are unique to using them individually. The game is still very early in development, but just from some of the artwork floating around, it looks like a promising new battle royale game that could be enough to stand out.

SkyHearth is a voxel-based exploration game that’ll instantly remind you of Minecraft.

The graphics, gameplay, and even UI system is very similar to Minecraft. But the game isn’t just some clone. It’s got a lot going for it to separate it from the pack. For starters, the game is a more traditional open world RPG adventure that has you epdloring and fighting enemies to do various things. You can visit cities, do quests, craft, explore, trade, buy a home, loot, raid camps, and more. It’s like a regular RPG that you’d expect from the likes of Diablo or Skyrim, but it plays similar to Minecraft.

The character system is competel with leveling, stats, skills, traits, abilities, and more. You can fight melee, ranged, and magic depending on your playstyle.

Alchemic Cutie is a cute (as the title implies) farming adventure RPG that’ll remind you of Harvest Moon and friends.

You run a farm and you need to tend to your plants, jellies, and make friends with the villagers in the area. You can also explore the many secrets of the island you inhabit called Wimba Island.

You’re a young jelly farmer who just happens to be a happy little village with many different and weird NPCs to interact with. You can explore, farm, discover, and look for new jellies to farm, breed, and raise. It combines Harvest Moon and Slime Rancher into one top-down pixel art RPG adventure!

Each jelly you farm has unique stats and traits with over 4,000 visual patterns. You can farm them all if you dare. If you’re not a farmer, take some time off and complete some quests, talk tot he NPCs, and compete with other jelly farmers in the village jelly competition. You can even make friends and develop relationships with other characters.

The game even has mod support for players to add their own villagers, quests, items, maps, and more.

Roulette Knight is an addictive little roguelike RPG.

It’s a game where you need to collect loot and unlock special abilities while you explore a medieval kingdom. You play as a knight who needs to explore the kingdom by earning XP and cash.

The experience is used for unlocking perks like HP regeneration or increasing your ability to dodge bullets. Cash can be used to buy new equipment like protective gear and bigger guns. You’ll need to use both as you explore new areas because the game gets a lot more difficult as you progress.

Why?

Becuase you need to constantly not have your knight get shot. It’s all about using your skills and abilities as well.

The map is laid out like a grid. You need to beat a few rounds of plain old Russian Roulette in order to continue exploring. You can load up your gun with as many bullets as you want.

Each bullet you add gets you more cash per shot. But if you do get shot, you’ll lose some HP. You need to balance out your shots and HP in order to beat the game. If you get too many shots, he may get killed. There’s also the chance of the gun doing a critical shot as well!

You need to explore the kingdom, get cash and experience, and then upgrade your stuff and abilities in order to finally get to the end. The game will throw in some crazy modifiers that can really screw you over. So be careful!

Roulette Knight combines traditional RPG elements you’re used to like getting experience and cash and exploration. But at the same time, you need to play Russian Roluteete. It’s a very weird combo, but it’s addicting at the same time and keeps you going. The game has plenty to explore and lots of things to unlock and upgrade also.

You don’t know how far you can get in this epic adventure before you shoot yourself. So play it and find out.

Winterfall is an awesome new RPG that lets you freely explore a huge, gorgeous, lush world.

The game takes place in a fantasy world with an old kingdom that’s been long-abandoned. You play as an adventurer who’s traveling in the land of Anor which was once flourishing but now has been destroyed by the elements. You look through the empty ruins and try to uncover the history of this once busy kingdom through secrets and items you discover.

However, you’re not all alone. It looks like there are few key NPCs you need to watch out for that have ulterior motives. These few individuals want to end your lineage for good. You can create a range of character with unique personalities and goals.

The combat is real-time with blocking, attacking, defending, and everything in between.

Winterfall is an action RPG that uses a third-person camera as you explore the area. You can build your own sanctuary, sort of like a barrier to protect yourself from the coming winter. The game has lush and gorgeous realistic graphics that it almost looks like an actual world instead of a fantasy land. It has a real ecosystem full of flora and fauna that frolicks the huge landscapes of this kingdom. Your actions also leave consequences behind a la Fable.

Winterfall looks like it’ll be a nice exploration game with a unique art style that throws you into a huge world for you to explore alone. it gives you that sense of nature and mesmerizing landscapes as you traverse through tall mountains, snowy caps, seas, rivers, fields, forests, and more. It’s like Morrowind in a way.

It combines RPG with resource management as you build your Sanctuary, so it’s like a town builder as well. You can pick between different cultures and characters. You have to build it, defend it, and expand it. It’s a city builder hybrid, which I have never seen that often other than very specific genres. It’s a welcome addition. Seriously.

Room of Truth is a pretty cool concept with gorgeous pixel art.

It’s a game where you play as an investigator and you need to interrogate a prime suspect over the brutal murder of a woman. The game takes place over an interrogation table and you’re given a folder of evidence. You’re looking at an older shaman who lives in a small, uncivilized village where the woman was also from.

The murder scene was nasty- she was found with many scars, cuts, bruises, and other acts of violence. This guy seems like he was trying to practice some kind of shaman thing on her. It’s up to you to crack the case!

You can use some conventional interrogation techniques like throwing questions out there, trying to scare him, or even use some hard violence against him to see if he cracks. The game sports a few different options for you to use so it’s not exactly linear since it has branching paths. You have to look through all the evidence provided and conjure up a case against him. You get a whole folder to look through filled with precious evidence.

However, you need to get him to confess to the case. You have to option of going peacefully or using some violence against him (such as punching him or waving a pistol in his face). He’s kind of crazy, being from a village int he middle of nowhere, but you’re kind of crazy as well. It’s an interrogation simulator if I ever saw one. And it’s freaking gorgeous too.

The artwork in this game uses a set palette of tones and it looks somewhat monochrome. The pixel art is simply beautiful and has plenty of special effects that keep it interesting. You get to decide if he’s right or crazy.

Overall, Room of Truth is a very unique concept. You’ll run into some typo errors and sentences that don’t flow too smoothly, but it’s okay.

The concept itself is very interesting because you decide how you want to interrogate him and control the pace of the game. Try it out using the link below and find out the case behind the murder in this quite village!

Last Epoch is an awesome dungeon-crawler with realistic graphics that are stunning to look at.

It’s like Diablo with modern graphics and all the action packed into a hack and slash dark fantasy world. You’re in the world of Eterra, which was lost to “The Void” a long, long time ago. You’re the hero and your job is to bring Eterra back from the grasp of the dark powers.

Last Epoch pits you against tons of undead minions, monsters, and creatures in this hack and slash action RPG that’ll have you nostalgic for Diablo or Baldur’s Gate.

Currently, you can play the game in its alpha demo. It’s still very very early in development, but you can get a good feel for how the game will play and the combat system (which I expect to change a lot over time). It has some pitfalls and isn’t completely polished, but it already has a solid foundation.

You can play a decent amount of the game which includes a piece of the campaign, a few boss fights, and even an arena mode. If you’ve played Diablo before, you’ll fit right in. You basically navigate through a dungeon, fight monsters, get loot, and level yourself up. You can also choose between two classes in the demo right now. The game combines tons of character customization, replayability, and even time travel.

The best part about Last Epoch is probably the game’s graphics. It looks surreal- everything from your weapons to the monsters to each individual grain of dirt. If the whole game gets this level of polish, it’ll easily be one of the best-looking RPGs ever made. The visuals are super high-quality.

I read that the game will feature both single-player and online multiplayer as well as a full story mode campaign and tons of content for endgame players. It’s basically a modern MMORPG with a Diablo-like feel and the promise of lots of content like quests, gear, raids, and even randomized dungeons for a unique run every time.

It’ll also have ten classes to choose from with extensive skill trees, play styles, roles, and combat mechanics like the Paladin, Sorcerer, Bladedancer, Beastmaster, Warlock, Void Knight, Spellblade, Marksman, Druid, and Necromancer. This is an upcoming MMORPG you need to keep your eyes on. Loot is even randomized as well.

Last Epoch is an awesome action RPG with impressive graphics, a huge dark fantasy world to explore, lots of content promised, and unique dungeons for each crawl session! When the game finally rolls out, it just may be the next big MMO. It focuses on old-school RPG mechanics with updated graphics and systems.

Legion: The Eternal War is an awesome new MMORPG that takes place in (another) Lord of the Rings-type world.

It’s pretty much another game that wages the war between Elves and Humans.

However, this time around, there’s another force that has risen because of the torn planet due to the war. The two races have been so focused on each other that they totally let a newer, more powerful force arise that’s destructive to both of them.

This fifty-year war allowed their leaders to be killed by this unknown faction. The game has you playing in a world that’s been torn apart between three factions in a chaotic environment.

Storyline aside, it’s pretty much another MMORPG. There are hundreds of these types of clones out there, but only a few are actually quality games and offer something new to the table (that works). Legion: The Eternal War has you playing as a wandering traveler who can choose between the two factions to form allies with.

The game is heavily combat-based with melee, ranged, and mana magic-based fights against other players, mobs, and NPCs (from what’s expected). It has a pretty sophisticated weapon, shields, and armor system as well. Your equips can lose durability at a specific part rather than the entire piece from what it looks like.

The game also doesn’t just throw out experience points for killing an enemy. You’ll have to use skills and get rewarded based on your combat performance. For example, if you use a sword to kill an enemy, you’ll be rewarded skill points for your sword. It’s kinda like Morrowind.

As of now, Legion: The Eternal War is nothing but an alpha game that’s coming out for beta soon. You can sign up early to grab a key.

This game does have some nice things going for it- detailed environments, a sophitcated equip system, and an awesome skill and level system as well. And it’s got some storyline behind it as well. Sign up for a key if RPGs are your thing. You’ll probably wnat to try this one out.

The Immortal Rift is an awesome new MMORPG rolling out soon and is currently in closed beta (but accepting applicants).

You’ll have to supply your computer’s CPU and GPU in order to join, but this MMO looks like a very promising new title instead of the typical clones you see floating around nowadays.

It allows you to forge your own story in its vast and huge world, rather than having every player following the same chained quests. If you’ve played and enjoyed older classics like Ultima Online and RuneScape, you’ll probably dig The Immortal Rift.

It lets players explore its huge world and do all the typical stuff you’d find in an RPG- quests, PvP, PvE, guilds, an auction house, and typical storyline stuff. You can explore the world, discover new lands and cities, and also even distinct cultures between cities.

The Immortal Rift has some pretty unique features up its sleeve though (well, not completely unique- but not that common).

For instance, the game lets you craft items like a survival game rather than an RPG. It also has player housing which you can completely build up yourself. Instead of placing items inside a templated house, you have to build it from scratch- or at least that’s what the screenshots look like. There are even custom storytelling tools and an unstructured economy.

The game also encourages role-playing as well.

Then there’s the naval warfare part. It seems like this is a huge bragging point for the game. You’ll be able to fight other players over water based on the available images so far.

The game is like an updated version of RuneScape. It’s heavily skill-based (as in you need to grind it out) from what it appears like. With over 20 combat and crafting skills, you’ll have plenty to grind out. There is also no class restriction so you can build your character freely.

The lands you explore also look awesome- everything from islands to forests to swamps all look awesome with floating energy and fairies in its mystical world. Giant mushroom-like buildings, trees, camel hybrids, and even wizards in robes all run around the world.

The PvP mode also looks pretty tempting as well. It features open-world combat so you can be attacked at any time.

The Immortal Rift is available for beta right now. If you like fantasy RPGs, you should try this game out.

Tales of Toast is an awesome multiplayer MMORPG that focuses on the old-school style of online RPGs.

Specifically, it has a very easy to play and intuitive interface with open world PvP and tactical-based combat. There’s also a focus on bringing back the social aspect of classic MMO legends like MapleStory and Ragnarok that had raging communities and contributed to what made them awesome.

Tales of Toast plays like your standard MMO but it has mechanical tweaks to make the game feel very different compared to modern MMOs. You can freely travel around the world and do the basics like quests, dungeons, etc. But what makes this game special is how these specific core components of any RPG is done.

For example, the dungeons in this game are procedurally generated with both world dungeons that all players on the same realm can partake in as well as instance-based dungeons. They also level scale to the players active inside and they’re randomly-generated so it’ll never be the same route twice. It’s always a fresh dungeon!

Another thing Tales of Toast does differently is the whole class system. You don’t choose classes in this game, but rather, you decide exactly what type of character you want. Hybrid mages, rangers, melee warriors, or whatever else you can dream of. You get to procedurally build your character to fulfill its role that you want rather play a locked class on a set path of skill points.

The game also has an in-depth trading system that’s based on trade skills like woodcutting, botany, fishing, blacksmithing, carpentry, leatherworking, mining, cooking, and alchemy. It’s similar to World of Warcraft and each trade has its own perks. This is useful for crafting the best items in the game or producing pots to sell in the marketplace. It’s completely up to you.

As with any good RPG, it has an awesome quest system that focuses on quality over quantity. The game still has a ton of quests, but they’re more interactive rather than just plain kill quests or destination quests. Instead, you’ll find epic quest chains that unlock special features and locations for your character to explore!

The game takes place in a world called Astaria complete with towns, capitals, fields, forests, summer/winter areas, deserts, volcanoes, mines, and of course, dungeons. There are even a day/night cycle and a complete weather system.

Tales of Toast isn’t a pay-to-win game, so they do it right like other legendary MMORPGs following the same formula (Path of Exile). You can buy cosmetic items, but nothing that’ll give you an advantage over free players.

The game features cartoonish graphics that look like WoW with an HD mod pack.
