Pokkie is a hilarious little satirical indie game that has you playing on your smartphone while at a party.
It’s supposed to simulate what we’ve all do and done before. You know that feel. You’re awkward in public so you whip out your phone. You pretend to be using it- checking text messages, playing around online, checking socials, changing settings, and even pretending to be in a call.
Pokkie is a simulator of that.
How does it work? you’ll have ot play it to find out. You basically use your smartphone by controlling a hand. You can do a whole bunch of things like changing the settings, use a different wallpaper, use the camera, and even play Flappy Bird. You can also listen to some tunes and also browse the ‘net and write in a forum. How cool is that?
You’ll basically be pretending to use your phone while actually pretending to use a phone.
There’s no goal or anything to do- you simply screw around and kill off boredom by using your phone just like you would in person.
The only thing is that the battery on it has a limit just like your real phone. You can only screw around until the battery drains. Then it’s time to restart the game.
Try out Pokkie for yourself. It’s a weird trip and it’s a nice satirical take on what we see now at parties everywhere- people on their phones.
