Sky Knights (Alpha)

Sky Knights is a dogfighting game with a top-down perspective.

You choose which aircraft you want to take flight in. These crafts are fully customizable to your liking. After you build it, you go ahead and take on the skies. It’s time to dogfight.

You need to destroy the enemy base and defend your own. To do this, you have an arsenal of weapons to take them out. You start with a machine gun which is powerful for mowing down small enemies, but it’s rather weak. Then you have the heat-seekers, which are a lot more powerful and homing after a brief lock-on period. To destroy the base, you use nothing but bombs that fall out of your plane and go boom. These do big damage.

You also have flares to evade enemy missiles and afterburners to escape enemies for a quick boost.

The controls are very simple and the game is very straightforward. It’s an arcade dogfighting game with an emphasis on control, positioning, and some strategic thinking.

Your weapons have a usage limit, so you need to pay attention and use them only when needed. Because restocking them means going back to your own HQ and landing for a bit. It’ll refuel your afterburners, stock your weapons, and replenish your HP.

The game is pretty fun and worthy of a modern arcade experience. The graphics are very nice and the game is polished for alpha.
