Rail Theory is a third-person RPG with a very creepy atmosphere.
The objective of the game is to solve they mystery of the alien planet you’ve landed on. You play as a character named Flynn where a research project has gone awry. An outbreak of mutatns have taken over the planet and you’re the only “good” race left.
Rail Theory is awesome because each enemy is pretty much unique. They’re all randomly generated because the mutants infect every host in a different way- thereby creating a unique mutant. And the game takes this into play by creating different abilites for each enemy. Yes, each baddy has its own abilities and personliaty.
This adds a new gameplay mechanic because you can’t really tell what the game will throw at you. The game is pretty easy to at first, but it gets really difficult later on. The choices you change the environment and also changes the bosses you take on.
Rail Theory is a creepy game with an immersive atmosphere. Enemies, environments, and even the bosses are all unique. The difficulty ramps up quickly. And the resources (ammo) are scarce.
You’ll have to play well and careful as you traverse through the game. Try out Rail Theory. It’s still in alpha, but it’s pretty promising already.
