Derail Valley (Alpha) – A Super Realistic Train Simulator with a Physics Engine and VR Support

Game Description

Derail Valley is a realistic train simulator where you’re in full control.

The game features a full physics engine as you navigate your train. You can traverse thorough railways across multiple environments like lakes, hills, fields, forests, mountains, and meadows. It’s not just a train simulator though…oh no.

It promises to fully immerse you into the game using HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. You can pilot many different trains, each one controls differently. The world is huge. And because of this, there are plenty of dangers. You have assignments that you need to complete. You earn cash to buy new trains as you complete them. The trains are fake, but simulate real behaviors of real trains. There are electric and passenger trains as well.

The game is realistic, right?

So thus, it incorporates real-time derails into the gameplay. As you look out the front window gazing in marvel at the beautiful landscape, your train can derail instantaneously. It’s a full train simulator that simulates both the driving and the hazards. You’ll have to traverse through old tracks, unpredictable hazards, very tight corners, and a lot of other nasties. When your train derails, you can watch it happen in full-blown glory. The game takes realism to the next degree. With VR support, this train sim has you fully-immersed.

The game aims to be intuitive so anyone can play it.

The trains also have a painstaking attention to detail. Each one is decked out with gauges, needles, rails, handles, levers, buttons, switches, and windows as you traverse through a huge 256 x 256-kilometer world of train tracks.

Derail Valley will be an authentic train sim. You can try out the alpha demo using the link below. The beta is limited time and you’ll need an HTC Vive to play this game.
